Starting out as a small personal project funded only by pocket money, funding was always one of the primary limiting factors in the development of my rockets. Fortunately, I have been able to gain funding and support which has enabled me to develop the project to a greater level than I ever would've been able to without.
From the development of my first stable rocket, I was given an award for 'excellence in engineering' by OptimaSC. This came with a £200 reward which enabled me to push the development further and to use better materials and components.
The support from Optima and EasyEDA pushed me to engineer my first truly flight-capable rocket. With their support, as well as my meticulous attitude to design and development, I was able to make this rocket be stable on its first ever flight.
In addition, following the first stable flight I have been fortunate enough to get support from the following companies.
Composite glass and carbon fibre filaments and 3d printers provided by Bambu Lab.
PCB, PCB assembly, and CNC machining by the JLC group.
Sub-cm precision RTK-GNSS modules from sparkfun.
Servo motors provided by HitecRCD.
Next generation espressif processors from wireless-tag.
